Project Obscura is a youth-led groundup initiative dedicated to uplifting the community by providing photography services to groundups, charities, non-profits and social enterprises. This service supports beneficiary-facing events only. With over 70 partners and a community of 150 volunteers, Project Obscura is happy to support groundups by providing photography coverage for such events.

Description of the mechanics: 

Photography services for beneficiary-facing events 

Terms and conditions: 

• The photography service is provided on a pro bono basis for beneficiary-facing events. 
• Project Obscura is unable to support non-beneficiary-facing events such as fundraising events, events directed at sponsors (e.g. charity golf, charity dinners), media-facing events and others that would require interaction with a hired PR agency. Photography for such events will be chargeable.
• Requests must be submitted at least 30 working days in advance.
• Photos will be shared within seven days of the event ending unless otherwise requested. Requests for expedited editing are not guaranteed and are subject to the photographer's capacity to do so.
• Requests will come through BAGUS Together who will facilitate the booking of photographer(s).
• Photography service is subject to availability. 
• Photography service is provided on a pro bono basis and allocation of photographers will be at the discretion of Project Obscura / BAGUS Together.
• In the event of any disputes, BAGUS Together’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entertained. 

Other Details 

Once a photographer is matched to the Groundup/event, a virtual meeting will be held between the photographer and Groundup to lay down guideline and other details.
