Kelvin Tok brings over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, with deep expertise in supporting local and offshore organisations, particularly in banking setup and cash management solutions for newly established entities. He previously led the Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organisation (NPO/NGO) portfolio at a local bank, working closely with charities and community groups. Kelvin is also currently serving as Treasurer of a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG), giving him hands on experience in governance, compliance, and financial oversight. Pro bono 60-minute consultation on Company by Limited Guarantee (CLG) Registration. Some of the topics covered include but not limited to:

• Clarifying the purpose and objectives of setting up a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG)
• Assessing short-term and long-term plans — whether as an offshoot of existing activities or a new initiative
• Identifying target audiences and intended beneficiaries
• Understanding how beneficiaries will be supported and how they benefit from the organisation’s work
• Reviewing available resources and sustainability, including membership and directorship considerations
• Advising on sponsorship matters, including local and foreign sponsors
• Highlighting key pitfalls to be mindful of, including structural, regulatory, and financial considerations
• Providing an estimated range of setup costs and ongoing financial commitments / maintenance
• Open Q&A to address additional queries and considerations where possible.
